A really wonderful moment for me was when I realised how successful my daughter's first terms of piano lessons had been. She wanted to frame her certificate that is at the end of book 1, and place it on the wall, because she felt so proud of herself. She wasn't just learning a skill she was really enjoying learning and achieving. I have thought the extra efforts and hard work involved in putting on a concert, creating competitions and sharing videos were not only so encouraging but also created a feeling of belonging to a really special school; a community.
